Shop gets a 100000/10 for me! Had my brakes done at Brake check in Temple, TX prior to driving to CO for a few days and they apparently didn’t put my wheel back on correctly. While driving my car slowly felt more and more “off” to me, eventually it began shaking horrendously with braking. After pulling off and assessing, we noted that 1 wheel had 3 lugs that had been lost & three that were loose. i was able to get to Ruiz Auto where he replaced my lug nuts for me and torqued/checked all were good to know! he was so fast & helpful and very fairly priced. He was also one of the only places in the area open on a sunday evening so his help was so so sooo appreciated. I can’t thank him enough or recommend him enough!! (also Brake Check ^^ YOU SUCK!!!!!!!) when I am going through CO again i will

My tire hit a rock on the road leaving Marble Colorado, and I had to buy a wheel from Ruiz Automotive’s but when i went back to my car it did not fit the rim size. I had to catch a ride back to his store, and he very generously helped me take the tire off of my rim and fit a new tire on there, free of charge after I returned the other tire to him. They are very humble and helpful, I really appreciate all the help he gave us.

After refueling our Ford F250 it didn’t want to start. We were lead to believe the starter went out due to the fact that the batteries were tested a couple days beforehand and were fine. After trying to get tow companies, mobile mechanics and auto shops in the surrounding area for help/guidance, they all were “too busy” or “unavailable”. All hope seemed to have been lost until we found about Ruiz Automotive. We called Ruiz and we explained to him our dilemma. He immediately drove our way which was 30 minutes away and addressed the issue, found a solution and refused payment. Truly a great mechanic and a greater man. Thank you again, Ruiz.

My boyfriend’s tire blew out on the road to Marble Colorado, and we desperately needed a spare tire for our car but we could only hitch rides up to Ruiz’s store. However, he was very flexible and helpful to our endeavors even when the spare tire we bought didn’t work. He took the original tire off of our rim for no extra charge at all after we brought back the spare tire we originally bought. Very helpful shop and super flexible and humble.

Oscar is the man. It’s not every day you come across a business owner with such great intentions!! Today on a Sunday afternoon, we had an issue with our car pop up out of nowhere. Ruiz Automotive was the only shop within all of Garfield County to respond to us. Oscar met us right away, diagnosed the issue and fixed it. He is a standup, honest business owner and I have peace of mind now on our drive back to Denver because of him!
