Runk & Pratt at Liberty Ridge

We recently moved my grandmother into Runk & Pratt at Liberty Ridge and so far, my expectations have been well exceeded. Patrick Hurt, in admissions, provided detailed information, answered all questions thoroughly, and was so kind! He personally has taken care of multiple things, even after she moved in. And that can be said of the rest of the staff. Everyone is incredibly friendly and supportive. They have multiple activities throughout the day. Bobbi, the activities director, is full of enthusiasm and joy. They have a chef who cooks for all facilities and the food is quite tasty. The facility is clean and in a beautiful location. My grandmother seems happy so far and I couldn’t be more thankful!

Wow!! We toured lots of communities looking for my Grandmother for Independent Living. It was very important for us find a community with a family atmosphere, as well as the ability to have continuation of care as she ages. We got to meet the executive director, the director of nursing and even the front desk staff who were all welcoming and knowledgeable! I am so excited for my grandma to call this community home!

I most recently had the privilege of visiting long time family friends at this community. As a senior living professional myself, I've had the opportunity to see many retirement properties throughout Virginia and the United States. This property is BY FAR one of the nicest I've ever seen. It was very clean, the staff were warm and friendly, and the residents are happy and well cared for. It is also beautifully designed and decorated. Their senior management team should be extremely proud of this community as it is a wonderful model for what independent/assistant living homes should be! I would definitely choose this for my own family!

I have had the opportunity to tour and visit at Runk and Pratt Liberty Ridge. This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. The location is perfect with mountain views and awesome sunsets. The employees and caregivers seemed very loving and compassionate. Rooms are comfortable and spacious and the food is great. Disappointed in the delivery of advertised or promised care and amenities. My parents are residents; one is in the Pearls of Life memory care facility, and the other is in the assisted living building. Delicious, chef-prepared food was promised, but for the past six months under a new cook, the food is worse than hospital food--overcooked, lukewarm at best, and hovering between tasteless and inedible. I ate with my father recently and could barely consume anything; the taste and presentation was wholly unappealing. This facility wears an extremely attractive veneer; on first glance, its decorated common spaces imply high-quality care. Be forewarned: It is not always as advertised. The scheduled transportation between the assisted living and memory care facilities is unreliable and inconsis
