Best service I’ve ever received from a car repair shop. Contacted Frank at RVA Transmission because my car wasn’t starting. Frank offered to have one of his colleagues tow my car to his shop for diagnostic testing. Although this shop specializes in Transmissions he was still willing to help with my minor problem. He was able to get my car in and immediately diagnose the problem, in which was able to be fixed promptly. Frank was very efficient with communicating with me throughout the entire process. He notified me of every step that was taking place before hand. Prices were very reasonable, service was impeccable and everyone at the shop was very welcoming. I would absolutely recommend this shop to anyone having car trouble. Trust me you won’t be disappointed!

2015 Toyota Corolla S I'm very late making this review. I found RVA Transmission Specialist through a Google search and decided to call because of the impressive reviews. I was greeted warmly when I called and spoke with Frank the same day to discuss my concerns and to make an appointment. Throughout the repair, communication was clear and consistent. The repairs took several days (which was communicated), updates were provided, and the cost was discussed prior to completion (very reasonable for a rebuild). I've been driving my car for a month now and haven't noticed any further issues. I'd highly recommend this business!

I have not had the pleasure of having work done yet with Mr Frank but I have talked to him on several several occasions about getting my 2006 Pontiac G6 transmission checked and I really don't know how to explain it but he is definitely a good guy he just put me at ease he explained everything he's been honest which that right there is a five-star he has told me when to call him back to see if he can get us in I'm actually looking forward to having him look at the transmission that's how much faith I have in him and he is just a great guy he really really is I will definitely recommend him to anybody that needs transmission work done and I haven't even had the work done yet LOL but I can just tell he is a good guy honest straightforward friendly I think it's going to be a great great exper
