Safelite AutoGlass

They replaced my windshield. Their technician used superglue to reattach parts to my car then covered it with tape and smeared it in my paint. I called Safelite for a warranty appointment, they sent the same technician to me to take photos. There was no follow up from a manager. Safelite damaged my vehicle and doesn’t care to speak to me about any resolution. I called customer service and they told me they know nothing about it. And they told me to call the shop. I called the shop over a dozen times now. No answer. Do not trust them with your vehicle. I have now noticed my windshield is very crooked and it is not actually sealed to the vehicle. Will need a new windshield, trim parts, and possibly paint repair at this point. UPDATE: WINDSHIELD IS INSTALLED CROOKED AND SEALS ARE NOT EVEN

Had chip repair completed. Was told it could crack and the price would go towards a new windshield installation. Fast forward a few weeks, windshield cracks. Spoke with customer care team who quoted me $973.24 with the military discount and the previous repair factored in. The quote was for OEM glass which I requested. I go to Safelite and the receptionist pulled up my quote. She verified the $973.24 price with me, and she also verified that the quote was indeed for the OEM glass. We scheduled an appointment for the following Wednesday. I arrange for a ride from a co-worker so I could drop the truck off before work. Filed and insurance claim and had a Safelite mobile tech based out of the shop in Mishawaka: Jonathan come to my house on November 4th to replace My windshield after a rock damaged it while driving!! With 15 years experience Jonathan is the perfect man for the job! He was prompt with calling early in the morning letting me know the amount of jobs he had prior and when he would arrive. Upon arrival he got to work quickly and had me done in under an hr! There is a tracker where you can watch your techs arrival which is awesome! During the service he didn’t hesitate to satisfy me and my neighbors curiosity whenever we asked questions. He was very friendly, personable and yet was still able to keep working! Glass replacement was fine, with no issues and looks good. My complaint is that it is impossible to actually call the shop and get an update. Your call will end up in the automated phone black hole, with no way to talk to any human, let alone someone at the actual shop doing the work. Car was dropped off at 9, near as I can tell I was the 2nd car there, so I figured maybe it would be done in a couple of hours. So I wanted to call and get an update so I could plan around it, since I live about an hour away. Absolutely no way to do this. Only option is to wait for the text. I have to give a star, otherwise I wouldn't. Set my appointment up, went to the appointment an hour away, only to realize that they had ordered the wrong windshield. Told me that they would place the order for the new one and get back to me. Never did. I had to call them the next week to find out when my next appointment was. It was the next day, great. I drove another hour there, they installed the windshield and we were out the door. Brought the van in to wash it before shipping it, the windshield leaks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Called, they told me the next available would be in another week. I have to ship this van to a customer, today.....I had to cancel the truck, call the customer. Which was NOT happy, Still have a windshield that leaks. SHITTY!!!!
