Salem Care Center

I've never really been a fan of nursing homes, but Salem Care Center is more like a family atmosphere. The staff is friendly while showing knowledge and professionalism. The residents are like a family of thier own, it's like it's own little community. Shay Schafer was very well versed, full of knowledge to every question we asked and willing to go the extra mile for anything we brought up. After my visitation, im no longer afraid of a nursing home in my future!

My dad was there for a short time I and he was so pleased with the care he received . The staff was caring and helpful. I would like to thank the staff for all there Kindness. The Facility is very much a family atmosphere.

Choosing to put your mother in a long term care facility is very difficult. You want the very best care available. The first facility we used was beautiful. They told us great information which we wanted to hear. Very quickly we realized the beauty of this facility did not provide a caring place for my mother and we quickly moved her to Salem Care Center. Salem Care is not country club beautiful, but the staff is caring and concerned about my mother's needs and that is very important to our family. I would recommend Salem Care because of the kindness and care given to my mother.

Going to a nursing home is not the easiest of decisions, but when my Mother had to make a choice I am glad we chose Salem Care. My Mother was very happy, well cared for and loved dearly. My Mother was always clean, well fed and entertained by the social director. The nurses and health care staff were on top of things and kept me informed of any and all problems. When my Mother passed they were very respectful and accommodating. Nothing is perfect, but they were there, they tried their best and made a difficult situation tolerable. I would recommend Salem Care Center - they became family.

Salem Care Center is a wonderful resident focused long term care facility. SCC has a very homelike feel with its staff focused on making their residents comfortable and happy.
