Saline Chevrolet

I purchased Ally wheel and tire coverage when I bought my new vehicle from Saline Chevrolet. The very first time I needed to use it — for a simple flat tire caused by a nail — I called the service department to have it repaired under the policy. This should have been the easiest possible use of the coverage. Instead, I was told (with a less-than-pleasant attitude) that because it was the weekend, I would have to pay out of pocket and seek reimbursement from Ally myself. My only other option? Drop the vehicle off and they could “try” to get approval on Monday and “let me know what they say.” We’re talking about a basic tire patch here — not a major repair. I even politely asked if they could just repair it and handle the paperwork with Ally on Monday so I could be back on the road quickly

DO NOT GO HERE FOR SERVICE. I made an online appointment, rearranged my schedule for a ride, and showed up at my confirmed time — only to be told the transmission technician was booked two weeks out.Two weeks passed and no one had touched it. Over three weeks later, I finally got a call saying it was my car’s turn. After more waiting, they told me they “couldn’t recreate the issue,” even though it happened consistently for me and another mechanic had already confirmed it. Communication was incredibly frustrating. Lori was argumentative and rude; she continually cut me off mid-sentence, and provided inconsistent explanations. I offered to provide a video of the issue I was experiencing and asked if I could speak directly with the technician to ensure the problem was clearly understood. I have trusted Bill Crispin Chevrolet in Saline, Michigan, for a little overover 25 years and every one of my new Chevy leased vehicles have been great experiences. I was looking for a 2025 GMC Terrain and noticed a great option at the Saline Chevy dealer. I was a little nervous with this location being 2 1/2 hours away from me, but I was lucky enough to get linked with Patrick Bonney. His communication is top tier, beyond friendly and made the long distance experience pleasant. Once I arrived at the dealership, I was greeted by multiple people, all very welcoming and warm. But Patrick was the cherry on the cake! Walked me through the setup process and made sure I left happy with my decision. I’m beyond satisfied with my purchase and I wouldn’t have done it if I didn’t feel comfortable. Thank you so much Patrick and Team! Great experience overall.

Have had negative experiences with the service dept previously but this one was the coup de grâce. We bought this car from them brand new last year. Made an appt for this past Tuesday the 24th for a check engine and was told my car wouldnt even be looked at until Friday. If so, what the point in making an appt? Additionally they declined to offer a loaner car and hung up on me. My husbands family has been bringing their cars here for decades but am now going elsewhere.
