Sam's Club Tire & Battery

I’m only giving two stars because they were at least quick swapping my battery out today. However, the man at the Tire & Battery checkout was completely rude multiple times, to the point I spoke up to him twice about his rude behavior. I rarely use the Sam’s Club app, and didn’t realize I had to re-authorize my account when the card renewed, and he got frustrated with me about that. Then, I was asking him if I would need a new battery, or if they could clean the corrosion off and it would still work (online research on this is a bit confusing - and I’m not a ‘car person’, hence why I go to the “professionals” for advice). He said “does the car go vroom vroom when you try to start it?”, treating me as if I am incompetent, and never actually answering my question. I will not be using this se

I bought tires through Sams Club and had them install them here. After the install, my car felt more sluggish, and had a signifigant drop in MPG. I contacted them letting them know my concern, they said that was just the tires I selected. When it came to my scheduled service at the dealership, they found a major misalignment with one of my wheels. After fixing that, my car was back to performing well. I wouldn't trust Sam's Club again with changing my tires.

Had headlight renewal scheduled, the guy on the phone had told me 1.5 hours at most. Planned my other errands around the service. Got here 10 minutes early and they told me it was going to 2 hours because there was a new guy working on it. I was like fine ok, no big deal. 2 hours ends I come back and they said it's going to be at least another half an hour of not mine and explained that the manager had ordered that they take care of another angry customer before me even though I was scheduled. They offered me a $10 gift card, I said I need more cause this is taking up my entire day and I have other things to do. Brenda the manager would not allow it and said only $10. Used the scan and go app for the first time. Great app allows you to know the total for your order as you put it in the cart, and avoid the check out register. Really impressed.

Didn't go to tire and battery. Went to store. Very busy. Spent a lot of time looking for stuff. Got my big stuff and left.
