Sam's Club Tire & Battery

They stated they follow RMA guidelines, but refused to repair the tire without properly inspecting it per those guidelines. The location was in the crown tread area, which RMA allows for repair. I went to another tire shop for a second opinion. They performed a proper inspection and confirmed the screw was only a small stud and had not punctured the tire at all. While the staff was polite, the refusal was due to a lack of proper inspection rather than RMA requirements.

I gave this place a 4 stars before because the only thing that I said could have been better was if there was an employee at the front desk at all times. They seemed to have fixed that issue, and I am happy to give this place 5 stars. The employees are professional and so efficient. By the time my wife and I were done shopping, the tires were all installed and ready to go.

Brought in a flat tire that was unrepairable and tire tech said they could warranty it out, Just had to pay $20. But I then had to ask him to mount it on my tire…he apparently was just going to swap out an old tire for a new one and give it back. After agreeing to mount it they said could do it right away but after waiting an hour in the store, they asked us to leave vehicle overnight and would do it in morning. When we showed up next day at 4pm, they hadn’t done anything as there was no communication about what needed to be done. Also, I asked about getting the other tire replaced with the warranty since it was a front wheel drive vehicle and tires need to wear evenly for safety, but was told that the other tire wouldn’t be covered under the warranty but could buy it separate if wanted. D

I was here for a flat tire and rotation, they told me that because I did not make an appointment they won't do the service, they were over booked and there was no way they can fit me in, waited for 50 minutes outside in my car and no cars were in our out the shop at all. The tire guy was doing nothing during the this time. Very frustrated with the POOR criteria of this location. I had to take the flat tire off and put the spare tire on myself.
