Sam's Club Tire & Battery

I have four vehicles and bought new tires mostly from Sam's over the last 25 years, a couple times from Costco. Probably a dozens sets over the years from Sam's. And I've always taken them back for rotation and balance services. I don't know what's happened in the last couple of years but out of the last 7-8 times, I've had one time where they were balanced properly the first time. The other ones I have had to take back two and three times to get correct balancing. And now two times in a row I gave up after two or three tries and went somewhere else (Shout out to AJ's Tires in Orange City, FL) and got them balanced. This last time, they told me one was dynamic balanced which tells me they didn't do anything to that tire, two were static balanced, and the fourth one had no weights on it at

Bought tires here, so I came when I had a nail. I called to make an appointment, but it was one week out. I made it just in case. I had to upgrade to Plus just to get in to talk to someone. I used an app in the parking lot because I didn't think they would let me in. After I did, I found out that there was a promotion inside Sam's to get $10 off plus membership. Just one more thing that I went back to have them fix. The tire people are all great in the tire center. Ryan and Chris are awesome. They said I could wait for it but could take all day. The appointment didn't show, so they did my tire. I also bought 2 wiper blades, and they put them on. They checked my battery, too. It's too bad you can't make an appointment on the app or online. Purchased a set of new tires online. They arrived within a couple of days. I received a call right away to set an appointment for installation. When I arrived for my scheduled appointment at the Sanford. FL Sam’s location, the customer service I received from Eric was excellent! It is my first time doing tires with Sam’s. I am very pleased with Eric’s customer service and his attention to detail. Thank you Eric!

This is the second time I have come here for tire and battery service since the one in Fern Park closed. The customer service is bad. The first time, the person at the tire and battery center did the minimum to help because he was in a bad mood and was ready to leave work. The second time, I waited for more than 15 minutes at the register while the person on the phone pretended I wasn't there. He didn't ask for backup nor did the other employees around offer to help. I wouldn't have renewed my membership if I'd known I'd have to drive out of my way to find another center just to get my tired rotated and balanced. I won't be coming back.

I went to the Daytona Beach location twice in three days to purchase new tires and they were unable to help me so I went to the Sanford location. I arrived around 6:00 p.m. and was greeted by Eric with a friendly attitude. He not only helped me with me with my purchase of 4 new tires but promptly put them on then called me when my vehicle was done. I live closer to the Daytona Beach Sams club but will be going back to the Sanford location where I received excellent and friendly service from Eric!
