Sam's Xpress Car Wash

So I used to detail cars for a living and did it for over 15 years. I have to say a hand washing is always better than any automated wash system. So I have a 2008 Toyota Sequoia with its share of scratches and dings and yes I have tried all the car washes in the Mechanicsville VA. area as of the posting. Sam’s X’press by far has the best system to reduce scratching and producing the best results. Instead of brushes their system uses a thick microfiber strands that do a great job of cleaning not holding dirt and reduce any chances of scratches. One of the problems I see often is other systems do not do a good job cleaning the back of an SUV, there’s always dirt or residue left on the back of the vehicle. This was my first time coming To get my car wash. I used to get my car washed at Carpool, which is no longer in Mechanicsville. Michael assisted me and helped me every step of the way. He went over and beyond and assisted me well. And because of Michael I decide to become a member. Good customer services is hard to find and it was so refreshing to get excellent customer service from Michael. ☺️

The guy working there seemed really upset I wanted to get my car washed at 8:50pm I understand. I used to work at one, it’s not that big of a deal. But why now I am writing this review because I wanted to vacuum my car and couldn’t. I would have been out of there by 9pm. I wouldn’t have held anyone up at work. I just wanted a clean car after this salt all over it and to clean up inside.

Went through the car wash to clean underneath from dirt and salt, i have a brand new car, that’s black. When i came out there were swirl scratches all over the passenger doors. I contacted them, they were nice, still waiting to see how they will correct this. I will not go through here any more.

Nick at Sam’s Express Car Wash is amazing! He always takes his time, makes sure the customer is happy, and explains everything with a great attitude.
