Sand's Auto Sales

Bought a (cheap) used truck from David this fall, I found him to be very patient and helpful for a sale that he didn't make much money on. The staff there is casual & low pressure, which I appreciated. As always, make sure to get the vehicle inspected, and if there's something that needs to be fixed negotiate it before the sale. In my case there were a few minor things that popped up post-sale, but Sands did the right thing and is going to take care of it.

Bought a 2017 chevy silverado from sands auto about a month ago looked fantastic, drove grea,t great truck (so I thought) go ahead get loan to purchase no problem . Go to pick up truck again no issues shake hands blah blah blah what struck me as kinda weird before leaves quote you look like your a handy guy , raised a red flag in head but brushed off as got a new truck.my mistake now about a month later after I changed oil cause bout with 12 % life left according to truck I work at jiffy lube no problem. Oil that came out was kinda cloudy looked under cap was a little dirty,short trip I'm assuming until this morning when at stop light check engine light came on get work check the oil as not really got to far on it and oils getting cloudy agai with bad gas smell coming from oil so mayb

NOT BBB ACCREDITED. WE COULD HAVE DIED. They said nothing about the brakes... Asked them to top off the brake fluid before we left, which they did, but they didn't say there was a major leak in the brake line, despite the fact we asked why it was still in the lot when we first arrived. Bring a mechanic with you, because they will put you on the road with a vehicle that will threaten both your life and those of every other driver on the road. Also saw this in the lot - that truck has a pair of pliers you can see in the grill, so they aren't being careful with their tools either. Further negligence.

Never buy a vehicle from this place. I bought a truck for here everything seemed great. As soon as I got half way home transmission started acting up come to find out the clutch plates were welded right tight to one another they knew they were selling a truck with a shitty transmission they even flashed the transmission to make it look good. Plus when I took it for a test drive I asked about the heater motor and the guy said of they all sound like that. Sure thing I needed to replace that also.

PLEASE NEVER BUY A USED VEHICLE FROM SANDS AUTO SALES! YOU WILL REGRET IT IMMEDIATELY! They will say anything to get a sale. They get their vehicles in from auctions and they dont disclose that. They don't look over vehicles before selling. Oil didn't even register on the dipstick. Back hatch would not open. Electrical problems throughout and they reset the engine codes! BUYER BEWARE! PLEASE GO TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP!
