Sandy Sansing CDJR of Foley

Last month, on January 14th, my partner and myself picked up this 2017 Subaru Crosstrek from Sandy Sansing CDJR in Foley. We drove 4 hours from central Mississippi because we knew our salesman Caleb as a good friend. The good part of this review is that Caleb was absolutely awesome. He took excellent care of us, and made the purchase a 100% totally-remote process (or so we thought, more on that later). He recognized our busy schedule and worked with us to get this done, and even had a few minor issues with the vehicle fixed before we took delivery. We could not be more satisfied with our experience with him. Over the past month, the car has been excellent too! The vehicle and Caleb are the reasons this review gets 4 stars! Now for the not so good. As I mentioned earlier, we are from MS.

Very unhappy . Will never purchase from them again . I bought my car Oct 3, 2023. The car was transferred from another branch , and in transit , the spare key was lost . I was promised an " I Owe You" , and asked for this in writing but the salesman who is no longer there said this was not needed, that he would make sure I got it . I called and scheduled an appointment, but they said they would have to get management approval since the IOU was not on file . I waited weeks for a callback , and called back again and the service dept promised again they would get the message to management. A recall was also sent out for my car and I was never notified but when I finally called and stated that I would not hang up until I spoke to management , they stated I came and got the recall fixed . They helped fix our truck quickly when we were stranded in Alabama during a trip. They communicated with us about our problem and timeline and got us on our way. Great job guys!

Two weeks ago, I purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee from this dealership. Unfortunately, the engine failed after only two weeks, which was extremely disappointing. I went back to the dealer immediately to explain the situation. I understand that the vehicle was sold “as-is.” However, after such a short time, I expected more support. Instead, I was told they could diagnose the vehicle, but I would have to pay of the repair costs. Having a major engine failure after just two weeks and receiving very limited assistance feels very frustrating and disappointing. We are traveling and towing our travel trailer with a Ram 2500. Friday afternoon the truck would not start but luckily we were in our campground. We were able to quickly get it towed to Sandy Sansing CDJR of Foley. We spoke to Brian and Matt and explained our situation. They assured us they would do their best to get as back on the road as quickly as possible. Within 24 hours they replaced the starter and our trip never missed a beat. We are so overly impressed with a 24 hour turn around. I would highly recommend. Their urgency to our situation and professionalism cannot be beat. Thank you so very much
