Schaefer Rod and Custom

My 69 C10 was wrecked due to the incompetence of another shop. A few hiccups and delays, mostly because of insurance bureaucracy and stonewalling. However, Ben handled it all with ease. They were always kind, never pushy, very professional, expert service. In the end I couldn't be happier and will definitely be recommending them to everyone. Whether its a classic like mine or a modern vehicle, Ben has 2 shops, one for each, to provide you with Superior service whatever your needs!

I happened to be in the shop while Tstamps(latest review) was there. His "antique" car is an 81 Toronado that has more rust than the Titanic. This guy was the male version of a Karen... he was extremely rude to the staff and felt his car should be put in front of others. This is a great shop that does great work. They have worked on several of my cars over the years. Judging by this guys 101 review count he seems very eager to find a reason to complian. I bet he asks to speak to the manager every time he goes to Olive Garden....

Whoever owns this place is in dire need of a crash course in customer service. FIrst of all, I was told it would be two months before I could drop off my antique car at the shop. No big deal. I can wait as the car is my leisure vehicle. Plus, I was told that Schaefer’s is the best shop to take old cars in the Metro East. So, I figured if I had to wait two months that the process of fixing my car would be expedited, right? Wrong. After I dropped off my antique car, I received no communication whatsoever from Schaefer’s. My car remained in the same parking space outside the building (adjacent to the street) where I parked it for 4 days. Untouched. I drove past the shop daily to see if any progress occurred.
