5+ stars. While driving from Seattle, WA to Arizona my diesel PU blew off the Turbo Intercooler hose leaving me stranded just outside of Monticello. Got towed in and called Schafer's the next morning. They got me in that day and one day later we were back on the road. When you're out seemingly in the middle of nowhere and find someone not only willing to work on your truck but knowledgeable enough to fix it right was true peace of mind! To top it off their prices were very fair. Thanks to Schafers and thier staff.

I was driving cross country and I hit a deer in Monticello. I am a woman traveling alone and I really needed advice. I showed up first thing in the morning, and was met with a can-do attitude. My vehicle was inspected and it was determined my car was drivable. They were also very honest that they did not have a new headlight for me. No charge and I was given sound advice, and I continued my drive until I arrived in a larger town with a Toyota dealership who would have the headlight I needed. They really set me at ease. I wish all auto mechanics were like Schafer.....they care

We were Campground Hosts for eighteen months in Monticello Utah. I had my Ford F350 7.3l truck and Toyota 4Runner repaired at Schafer Auto Clinic during our stay there. Last week I drove from our home in New Mexico to Monticello Utah (300 miles, 600 round-trip) because they do such a great job and are so fairly priced. In my 47 years of driving I have lived in several states, and had my numerous vehicles serviced by many auto shops, some that I would recommend, and a few I would warn against. I put Schafer Auto Clinic at THE TOP OF MY LIST as the BEST AUTO SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD! I would recommend them to anyone.

My experience here was the best interaction with a mechanic that I've ever had. Very knowledgeable and courteous. I Can't recommend them more highly!! I had a severe oil leak as I was traveling across country in my bmw e46. I called first thing in the morning and they told me they were extremely busy but would take a look at it. I brought it in and they paused what they were working on to examine my car. An hour later everything was fixed and my car was doing great! So happy I found them!
