The story is funny, but the situation is terrible! Let me start by saying that the manager of this place needs to be fired immediately, along with many of the employees who are completely incompetent. This is a lack of necessary knowledge, skills, or experience to perform certain tasks corresponding to their position or status, which leads to an inability to cope with responsibilities and mistakes! I was looking at a pickup truck: The wheels are dirty, and this car is on display in the showroom! and asked the sales manager about a bolt that attaches the bumper (why is the bolt so big and clearly different from the others? Dianna in the service department was AWESOME!! Drove out to Long Island to pick up a motorcycle. When I hooked up the U-Haul trailer at the Long Island location, the lights on the trailer did not work. Apparently the computer in the Jeep needed to be "flashed" by a Jeep dealership in order to activate the tow package. I didn't want to have to make a second trip back to NY. I found Security Dodge was 10 minutes away. Explained my situation to Dianna. She had my car brought into the shop within 15 minutes. The technician flashed the system. Everything worked except the running lights. After over an hour he figured out it was a blown fuse. Replaced it and everything tested fine. It’s been five years since I purchased my Jeep from Security Dodge Jeep Ram, but a recent experience at another dealership reminded me just how poor my experience was here. Things may have changed since 2021, but based on what I went through, a 1-star review is warranted. I walked into the dealership, found a Jeep I liked, and asked if I could take it home that day. I was told, “Yes, of course.” I then spent four hours at the dealership waiting, only to be told that finance was too busy to get to me and I’d need to come back the next day. An entire afternoon wasted. The next morning I woke up to a call from the salesman pressuring me to go to the bank to withdraw more cash for a larger down payment.
