On June 11, 2025, I visited Selective Automotive in Pelham, AL, and put down a $1000 deposit toward a vehicle I was interested in. The salesman I dealt with was Terrell Jones. I eventually changed my mind and decided not to go through with the purchase. I contacted the dealership to let them know I had changed my mind and requested a refund of my deposit. They refused to return the money—even though the sale was never finalized, no paperwork was completed, and no vehicle was taken. I was met with unprofessional behavior, a lack of communication, and no accountability for keeping my deposit under these circumstances. Based off how the girl “working” (on her phone) the front desk, cut me off and told me to go upstairs and find a salesman, only to walk up there and not see anyone… (I was not about to start knocking on random doors.). I was not going to beg these people to sale me a car. I just left. Also look at the owners replies. Either everyone leaving a bad review is lying or they have the wrong business. I would steer clear of this place.

I recently visited Selective Automotive, and the experience was exceptional. The customer service was friendly and helpful, offering honest advice. The selection was impressive, and I found the perfect car. The buying process was smooth. I highly recommend Selective Automotive! Five stars!

love this dealer. i bought my first car and upgraded to my second car from Mr. Jones within 1 year. he is very straightforward and has great customer service not to mention the big variety of luxury vehicles on the lot.
