Sergio's Auto Repair

I recently took my truck to Sergio’s Auto Repair in Sylmar because I wanted peace of mind. I didn’t mind spending the money if it meant my truck would come out reliable — or at least knowing for sure if it was time to move on from it. They did find and fix a few issues, which I appreciate. However, my original concern wasn’t fully resolved. An alignment also wasn’t suggested, even though it ended up being something the truck clearly needed. After spending a significant amount, I still felt unsure about how the truck was driving. I eventually set aside some time to go through it myself, made a few adjustments, and it’s now driving much better. Overall, it wasn’t the worst experience, but it also wasn’t exactly what I hoped for given the cost.

Do you ever have that moment where - like in Wayne's World - Charleton Heston appears in an auto shop to save the day? If not - at least know that Robert is very much the guy you want to call when you are broken down or limping along in the slow lane. Sergio is actually Robert's father - and his dad has now since retired where he's got a spot on the beach. Following in this footsteps - Robert has kept the dream alive in this very local auto repair. After moving from Texas to LA - it became important to find a shop to help take care of the truck when beyond "routine" maintenance was required. Fixed my entire bumper and hood, detailed my car and left it so clean! They were so quick and took care with my car. I highly recommend

They replaced my water pump and hoses for $1,400 a couple months ago then my car started leaking again and they wanted $180 dollars to tell me what the problem is now. Biggest wrip off i ever heard from a mechanic shop. I called Pep Boys that's right by there and they're charging me $35 for the diagnostic
