SIXT Rent a Car Boston Westin Seaport

Prepaid full-size car, "only available" was corolla (economy, mid-size at best), Florida plates, expired Virginia inspection. No upgrades or extras offered at desk, like transponder or insurance. discovered smoke smell, garage worker offered a "spray", but did not make any effort to put a note in computer. Car was only 1/2 fueled, had over 48k miles, and was in an accident within previous month, most damage noted in a very long list of damages. Workers not at desk had to wait, didn't let me out of unlit garage, had to wait. After I got the car into the sun, discovered the damage from that June '25 accident, but having prepaid, I didn't want to renegotiate price for a new car. I have to say that the experience with Ryma was extra ordinary! Ryma gave us the best service ever!! She was so patient, explained everything and got us the best car on a busy weekend of thanksgiving. Its the first time with sixt and Ryma was the best we could ask for. After 2 times of renting through Sixt, I can honestly say that this is one of the shadiest and most parasitic companies I've worked with for renting vehicles. The cars that I received were actually good. Well kept, good condition, drove well and had no issues. The problem is with the staff I worked with and the shady practices. After my first rental, they didn't tell me that they charge $11.99 a gallon for putting gas in the car so I ended up with about $70 of extra charge from that. On top of it, they charge junk fees like a "Convention Center Fee", "Police Training Surcharge", and even though I put the first car back perfectly, they charged a "Parking Violation Surcharge". The next week when I rented from them, Ryma, the front desk attendant, had previously made my rental a 24 hour rent

We had a wonderful experience receiving our rental car by having been greeted by Ryma. She was kind, warm and very helpful as this was our first trip to Boston. She checked us in efficiently and provided us with great service on our reservation.
