SIXT Rent a Car JFK Airport

Everything went smoothly, no surprises. The car was fully loaded and practically new. There was a short line at check-in, but the service was quick. I appreciated the gesture of offering us an upgrade to the BMW 7 Series, since they temporarily didn’t have the key for the X5. By purchasing the all-inclusive coverage, we were also protected against damage caused by someone else to the car’s side in the parking lot.

SIXT came in clutch for me at JFK, after a hectic day flying with Frontier 🙄 and having a reservation at Budget car rental where they informed me that there is no rate because I booked a month in advance (and whatever else nonsense they said). Walked into SIXT, expecting the price to be ridiculous, only because of their ad which mentioned "premium fleet", the agent greeted me and asked what car I would prefer i said Sedan, he said he got the perfect one and indeed it was perfect i got a 2024 Mazda 3 for 7 days for $611 INCLUDING insurance. It took less than 10 minutes and i was out of there. The car was very clean and drive excellent. The return was super easy, the agent there inspected the car and informed me of the price once again and guided me to the air train that goes to the terminal

Very helpful employee, Jerome. He handled several problematic situations professionally and efficiently. If you have any issue, Jerome will resolve it. We were given a BMW X5 that was not even one month old, which made the experience even better. 10/10!!

If you want to enjoy your rental experience this location, as well as SIXT in general, shouldn’t be on your radar. I have rented a car from this location in the middle of the night after a long flight, the second I was leaving I got a tire pressure warning which I pointed to the person on the exit gate, somehow this information made them mad and I was told I can go back to the people servicing their cars and wait for another 2 hours for them to inflate it or do it myself and submit a receipt to which I did what any reasonable person would do and chose the latter. Thankfully I didn’t have to drive that much but that tire was leaking air constantly so undoubtedly upon return it was deflated as well, I pointed it to the person accepting the returns and talked to the site manager who was very
