Buyer Beware! You have been warned! They placed an ad on Facebook Marketplace for a 2012 Chevy Equinox, advertised as a private seller and with 90,000 miles on it for $4500. The seller's name was "Jorge Reyna", but a guy named Raphael showed up. While my son is test driving it, Raphael says he's taken said truck to Michigan twice. Clearly, this truck traces back to this dealership. We run a scanner on the car and codes come up, but alas my son still wants to purchase the car. He paid $4500 cash in full and while securing the title, Raphael suggests we put that my son "purchased the car for $1000 to save him taxes". Foolishly, I went along with it. Red flag, I know. Bought an sq5. Was told oil change was done but it wasn't true. Oil was burnt. Don’t recommend. Spent about 5k in repairs out the door. Avoid unless you have deep pockets to fix whatever lies they said was repaired. Buyers be warned.
