Smog 1

Used to be my favorite place but prices have increased too fast. Roseville Smog Center is my new smog shop--it is fast and more reasonable without any upcharges for SUVs--$40 out the door (no additional certificate or SUV fees). But I'll still give 5 stars because I like the owner--just not the price. It is no longer competitive. Be competitive and more customers will return.

Absolutely the worst customer service. The staff (Older White Male) was rude, dismissive, and extremely unprofessional when I approached him. There was another person who was waiting long before I arrived yet to be greeted. When we all started to leave was when he decided to address us. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

No longline. Price is good. I have not pass smog, but the man explain to me how should i drive my diesel car to pass it. I usually write negative reviews. But not now.

Went to Smog 1. The tech, Mohamed, didn’t pass me because I needed to get an emissions label that my car didn’t have. Called my Honda dealer to get them to print one for $15. Came back two days later and he wasn’t working. The new guy said I didn’t need the emissions label to pass the smog test (annoying) and said Mohamed noted that it didn’t pass due to catalytic converter being tampered with. I told him it was stolen 4 years ago and I got it replaced. So it obviously looks tampered with. And I have had a few smog checks since then so not sure why this didn’t come up before. He said I needed to come back when Mohamed was working (a week later) and he couldn’t re test me for free. I couldn’t wait that long, so I ended up going to Smog King. They were wonderful. Went there a couple days ago right at 9am before they opened. This new guy (old white Guy)opened 15 minutes late. I was the 3rd customer in line , right off the start was rude to the first customer. I had to leave, will stay loyal because I like the other man who I think is the owner but will definitely mention to him about this rude man.
