Fast, very affordable, and no appointment needed! Stopped by SmogNDash today in Walnut Creek and couldn't be happier. Just $50 plus certificates – best price I've found in town by far. Love that they're first-come, first-served. No messing with appointments, just walked in and they took me right away. Whole thing took maybe 20 minutes. Guy was friendly, got it done quick.

Friendly, quick and efficient! Recommend calling ahead to find out their queue. Also don't forget your paperwork.

I agree with the high rating of this smog check place. I called the business, I was told no appointment necessary. I showed up in an hour and just had to wait a few minutes while the car in the front of me was tested. The price for job Star was great! Just $50 and I have an SUV Sean, the young man who managed the testing and paperwork was friendly, polite and offered expedited service. It’s not that hard to find; just follow the google directions. It’s located on an interior industrial driveway; a mechanic shop. I highly recommend this place!

They don’t answer their phone, and when you show up in person they tell you that they don’t answer their phone because “they are too busy…”

I was very impressed with the fast service here. Despite no appointment there was nobody waiting and I was in and out in less than 15 minutes, the actual test was less than 10 minutes. Such a complete difference between SmogNdash and the one I went to the previous time - Walnut Creek smog: When I went there I had to make an appointment and it still took a half hour and they spent lots of extra time running my engine for no reason at all and trying to find something that needed fixing but there wasn't. Fortunately just down the street at 2040 North main, up the industrial driveway behind Kevin's noodles house, you will find smogNdash, where for cars made after the year 2000 it is just a quick visual inspection, no BS like I dealt with at Walnut Creek smog where he ran the engine for over 15
