Took my truck to have the hood & top painted. Went to pick it up & I was not satisfied with the paint job. Had lots of orange peel and you could see black primer where it was not painted. Talked with owner & he said he would fix it. Kept my truck another week. 2nd time I picked it up, it was still not a quality job! On top of truck, a paint brush or marker was used. The top edge of windshield is crooked because it was not painted evenly across. There is gouge along edge of hood where it meets windshield. Paint runs at front of hood. Owner should have checked the work of his tech before telling me my truck was ready after 2nd re-paint. I usually don't write reviews (especially good ones). However, I have been fortunate to come across Mr. Solis and Solis Auto Body & Collision in Nashville, NC. Unfortunately, things keep happening to my vehicles to make me see him more than I would like. That said, each time the shop has done a great job with the repairs and at a reasonable price. I just got a full paint job on an MR2 that turned out terrific. I suggest getting an estimate from them and comparing it to whatever quote you may have. Keep up the great work SAB&C! The owner, Solis, has great customer service skills. I brought my Lexus here about a month ago after it was sideswiped by a semi. The repair took about a week. When I got the car back, it looked nearly brand new—but I soon noticed the passenger-side window wouldn’t roll down fully. Turns out the window regulator wasn’t aligned properly. Since the accident impacted that side, I figured they had removed panels, but just to clarify: the window worked perfectly before I brought it in.
