South Boston Auto Tech Inc.

This is an honest one man shop with reasonable prices. I had an issue with my brakes making a whining noise ever since another shop in Southie changed my brakes/rotors about 2 years ago and recently had them inspected and was told the pads were well worn already. I gave Will a call on Friday afternoon and was able to get my car in to him right after I got off work for him to take a look and later that evening he gave me his assessment and recommendations. He only suggested what needed to be changed and was transparent about what work I'd need to do if I didn't change certain parts depending on if I were going to keep the car for long term vs short term. I opted to go for a full change in pads/rotors anyways and he was able to fit me in and get my car back in my hands within 24 hours. I be

Brought my car here for a new starter. Will was really great, and took the time to explain the process and my options. The car runs perfect now, and he even fixed my key that needed a new battery!

Will is an excellent mechanic and business owner. He was extremely transparent with all of the repairs he had to do, pricing etc. and his customer service is exceptional. Highly recommend!

Awesome, honest, and very professional service! My car was making a weird thumping noise and when I brought it in to Will, he took a look at it for me and very quickly figured out the problem: it was my rear brakes. I was told by other businesses that I needed more done for my car and was dreading the costs (aka, ALL my brakes needed to be redone in addition to a few other engine-related things). Will was upfront with me and thoroughly explained things. He was also very patient with my questions. He has very fair pricing and did things in a timely manner. Amazing customer service! I also appreciate how neat and organized he kept his shop. Would highly, highly recommend going to him!

Will provided thorough and friendly service when my car’s splash shield came loose. I was visiting my friend in Southie and realized I needed a mechanic to re-attach it. When I called Will he willingly helped me even though it was close to closing time. I am so appreciative of his help!
