I bought my car in round rock and got the extended warranty. But it’s always a 3 month lead time to get an appointment out there even for a prepaid oil change. I started bringing my car to southpoint instead. I love that I don’t even have to have an appointment- just bring it in. There is a courtesy vehicle that drops me off at home and they just call when ready. Yeah- it may take some time but I plan for it (to be expected especially without an appointment). They have taken excellent care of me. Things I didn’t expect to be covered under warranty have been- without me even asking. I finally feel like I found a place I can trust to take my car to without worrying about getting taken advantage of. **would be great if they did the little touches some places do like vacuum the car but that

Spent $4000 to fix my power windows (Windows wouldn't run up or down). 1 month later another window doesn't work. Not sure exactly what the $4,000 was used for.. I work 2 jobs so leaving it for a 2 week diagnostic is out of the question!

I never make an appointment because with or without, it won’t matter. You are sitting there for 2 hours minimum, even if they give you a shorter time estimate. The staff is nice, but there is no reason for an oil change to take that long unless I am asking to do other things. There’s no real “line” I watched people come and go and they showed up after me, and I saw people who were there when I got there and still there when I left. They need to find a way for people who paid for a warranty to be able to come in and out without having to waist an afternoon in the lobby. There was no check in time and nobody gave me any update for over an hour. This has now been the 3rd time in a row I have come in for something labeled as “routine” and i’m stuck for second half of my day.

First of all, I spoke to a very friendly service manager during check-in. He was very kind. Unfortunately, despite having an appointment, I came in on a Saturday and waited about 30-40 minutes to get the vehicle checked in. The staff was doing their absolute best, but the dealership clearly doesn't allocate enough people to attending to the demand. I feel for the staff – they did a great job given the circumstances, but I waited almost as long to check in as I did for my routine maintenance. The turnaround of the actual tune-up was very fast, however. So, kind staff, quick maintenance, but frustrating wait times in line.

I recently got into a pretty bad car accident and needed a car immediately. I happen to to know Carter, who is a finance manager at this shop. He’s not only put me in touch with one of his best salesman and another salesman at the same time. We looked at cars one Monday morning, and by Tuesday afternoon the next day the car was mine! They found me exactly what I wanted it at a good price. I highly recommend you go to Southpoint, Hyundai , and look for Carter, Derrick or Juan.
