DO NOT HAVE YOUR CAR WORKED ON AT SOUTHERN TIRE & AUTO CENTER ON STEWART PARKWAY DOUGLASVILLE!!! The job was done in a family members name so they will probably try to claim I was never there. After paying over $800 on 1/24/2026 for a new battery and starter, they left a mess in the interior of my car! Greasy, dark stains were all over the steering wheel, gear shift and the entire seat belt! I had to use Dawn to scrub it off for over an hour and still the seat belt is only 50% clean! Shocking! For what these mechanics are paid for a few minutes of labor, they should at least be careful to not stain the car interior! I will NEVER go to this place again!

I wish I could leave zero stars. Got two matching used tires from here a month ago and they were dry rotted. Literally one month in the tire blew so bad it ripped part of my bumper off, ripped the wires to my lights off and break line.. all from the tire I got from here a month ago. Worst news is they were matching tires so I know the other one is going to do the same thing soon. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY GOING HERE BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING BUYING FROM THEM. WORST EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD BUYING USES TIRES.

Had some tires put on. Guy doing the tires was skinny red head guy. He struggled putting tires on and blamed it on rims not being wide enough. He eventually got them on. He then drops my wheel on the ground off the tire machine. After that he messes up a bunch of my lug nuts. I spent 85 dollars on lug nuts. The owners wife was there and seen all of it. They didn't compensate me for anything and blamed the lug nuts on being swollen

I have been coming to this location since I moved to Georgia last year. I use to bring my 05 avalanche here and even bought 4 tires for it. I had a couple of issues with getting them to grease my avalanche. I had 7 grease zeros on that one and they would always pull it out without greasing it. I now have a newer silverado with a lift and large tires. I bought 2 tires they had to order to match me set. I also got a tire rotation and a synthetic oil change: grand total of a little less than $1000.00. This time I did not tell them when I dropped it off to remember to grease the zerks. So once again when I picked up my truck and stuck my head under to see if they had been greased they had not been. I explained to the very nice lady that works at the front the situation. Very enjoyable experience at Southern Tire and Auto Center. I wanted to get a 2nd opinion on the list that a chain auto shop gave me when I walked in for just an oil change. I spoke with the owner of Southern Tire and Auto Shop and showed her the list of services that the other auto shop gave me and the big fat price they listed amounting to 5K. She suggested I come in for a diagnostic with her mechanic to see if all these services are even needed at this time. Saturday morning I brought my car in. Spoke with the front desk receptionist who was very friendly and knowledgeable. She understood my situation and my hardship of getting the funds together for some of the services.
