Southern Tire Mart

I don’t usually write complaints, but I felt like I needed to share my experience. I’ve been buying from Southern Tire Mart for a long time. Me and my boys have always appreciated the way Billy Donn Holcomb took care of us over the years. He’s always provided great service whether we needed cash and carry or mounted tires. However, on my recent visit I went to pick up two tires from Mike Cooper, and from the moment I greeted him, his attitude caught me off guard. He acted frustrated, saying he missed a doctor’s appointment, but that had nothing to do with me. For a minute I actually felt bad, but then I realized that wasn’t my fault or my responsibility. Needed tires for my business and told them what I needed, got them in timely and installed the same day they came in.

Just called for pricing, I needed a tire replaced with my own used tire. They said they don’t do that, because too many have blown up on them. What in the world. I thought this was a tire shop. I guess they want you to buy new tires from them regardless if you have your own tire.

Need to Focus on Customer service more. Got me right in and then waited a while to get a New Trailer Tire on. Other than that, I've always had Good luck with STM
