Dropped off my driveshaft to have new u-joints installed. Didn't have an appointment because it's about a ten minute job. The lady at the desk said they are busy and they would try to squeeze me in but it might be a day or two. I'm in day two. Will update. Be aware they they are known to be slow and keep vehicles for weeks. Don't go in expecting to get anything done in a day or two. Week or weeks is more accurate. Dropped it off Wednesday, they called Friday, 11:00 or so that it was done. They got a six week wait for taking on work. I'll take my car back for work that doesn't have to be done quickly or in a short time. Bobby and Becca are nice folks. Bobby is a talker like me and will visit with you until Becca shoo's him back into the shop. Sorry, Bobby.

Undoubtedly these guys are GREAT MECHANICS. Had a brand new motor put in our company van, GMC SAVANA 3500, by a different mechanic a couple years ago. Well, it just never ran right. Problem after problem after problem.... EXHAUSTING TO SAY THE LEAST. I'm not originally from here, Georgia is where I was raised. Moved here 6 years ago, so I don't really know anyone. Especially any local mechanics. I go to Lowes a lot and just happened to see the S&S Automotive sign. Took it to S&S Automotive, by this time my faith in mechanics had dwendled. To start with, they diagnosed the problem with "knowledge" and not a "computer". That's what impressed me. My car started making a strange noise while traveling. They were able to fit us in last minute, diagnose the issue and even let me use a private space for a virtual training i needed to attend. They were very helpful, friendly, and personable from start to finish.

ALL I CAN SAY IS STEER CLEAR OF THIS JOINT. My wife and I came on a trip TO SEE NASHVILLE FIREWORKS. WE WERE REAR ENDED BY A TENN METH HEAD AND WE FOUND OUR POWER STEERING WAS LEAKING JUSTED CALLED THESE PEOPLE TO LOOK AT IT TO SEE IF IT IS SAFE FOR US TO GO 1800 miles home on it. They refused to help saying they were to busy. I was born in tennessee and we cared for people in need and would NEVER TURN away helping someone in trouble guess this shop is owned by a california transplant.
