These people went above and beyond to help me and my wife get her jeep back on the road. This is the second time we have come to them. When something didn't feel right he made sure it was correct and made us feel comfortable. I always got updates when asked and was extremely personable. I will be referring people to them for a long time to come and if you need work done this is the absolute place to bring your vehicle.

Bill took care of two transmissions for us. Very friendly, professional, and thorough. We needed a rebuild on a Ford AOD and he re-built it as well as my Dodge 47re. Great work👍 Both run flawlessly! Bill also replaced our engine and rebuilt the transmission. Just picked it up. Runs lime new! 97 Chevy K1500. So far we’ve had three trucks there. Bill does Fine work and is very good at what he does. Highly recommend him.

Last fall I encountered some mechanical problems on a Friday morning. My Honda Accord wouldn't get in gear, and I thought it was a transmission issue. At the time I thought Silk & Sons was just a short distance from my house but had moved over 20 miles away to the southern end of the county. The other positive reviews led me to still go with them. A rollback took my car to their new location, and Bill called me Saturday morning to let me know it was a broken axle. By Monday it was repaired, plus he and an employee even brought it back to my house that evening in Hedgesville. The cost was very fair and reasonable along with the excellent service. A definite five stars and a huge thank you!

Bill got me in and out very fast, and for a good price too. He built my 68rfe and I was able to take my truck on vacation with no problems. Highly recommend
