Very disappointed with this place. Stackhouse was recommended to us by another auto shop who didn’t feel comfortable looking at our vehicle, since it was above their knowledge and expertise. We read all of the great reviews and ultimately chose to go to Stackhouse. The initial visit was perfection. Took my vehicle, looked it over for a few days, and then diagnosed it and told me my next course of action. My next course of action, however, was to wait to hear from Stackhouse to see if he could get the parts and do the repair. He stated that if I don’t hear from him within a few days to text him and remind him. So that’s what I did. I waited a week and then texted him but I didn’t hear back so after another week I texted again and still didn’t hear back. So after another week I tried calling

After Mr. Gitkos retired I didn’t think I’d find anyone else who was good as he was, but then I found Stackhouse. As long as they’re in the auto repair business, I will remain a royal customer! He has always treated me with nothing but respect and they take care of any problems I have with my car. Sean and his son keep on giving that exceptional customer service!

Our go-to mechanic. Sean and the team always go above and beyond for their customers. There's a reason he's a mainstay in the West Pittston/Exeter area for years. Fast, fair, and competent. It's what you need in a car mechanic.

I'm not happy to have to write this review, having been a loyal customer of Stackhouse for many years. The last time I took my car in, I asked for an alignment since my car was shaking at higher speeds. Sean called and said it needed a new control arm (which he had replaced last year). I said ok to the work. Later Sean called and told me it was done but that didn't fix the problem and all 4 of my rims were bent. That did not sound right to me. I asked for my car back and he said he just had to do an alignment. I had an appointment that evening and I let Sean know I would need my car back by 5. Around 4, I called to check in. Sean said he'd call me right back. 40 minutes went by and I hadn't heard from him so I called again and said I really needed my car back for the appointment. He said h
