The people were nice but I was without my truck for almost a month. The warranty didn’t cover everything, even the stuff they said they would cover. Now I’m breathing exhaust. But it drives better.

I don’t usually post public reviews, but after months of frustration, I feel it’s necessary to share our experience. In February 2025, we brought our vehicle to Star Chevrolet for diagnosis due to a cold-start noise that was clearly documented by their technician. Despite repeatedly expressing that the issue seemed transmission-related, we were told it only needed a tune-up. Within 30 minutes of pickup, the check engine light returned and the same issue persisted. We brought it back and were then told it had a blown head gasket, even though the car had never overheated. Against our wishes, they proceeded with that repair. The vehicle then overheated severely the same weekend we picked it up. When we returned it, they claimed it was just an “air bubble” and sent us on our way without check

We just purchased an 2023 Acadia from Star Chevrolet. All points of contact were great. We were coming from Lafayette, LA. They had the car ready, cleaned, and gas by the time we got there. They had all of the paperwork together to be signed. Best part and the reason we made the drive was the dealer warranty. Then we got there and was pleasantly surprised it also come with an extended warranty.

With Star's great pricing, I was able to get a much newer, much lower mileage truck than anywhere else for the same dollars. The buying and closing process was easy. Todd in sales, Chandler in finance, and now Cambee(?) in service have all been amazing. I have bought here before and will continue to recommend them for sales and service.
