Star Smog | STAR Certified Smog Check

Wonderful 5 stars experience at Star Smog. It was easy to make an appt online - got it same day. The entire process was efficient & pleasant. A shout out to Rida for being so warm & welcoming. Would recommend to everyone to try them.

I went to this place yesterday to get a smog check, Walked in and saw a young lady in front of the desk, I greeted her with hello, she glance at me without saying anything back. immediately i could feel the tension. I found that very rude. Told her I need to get a smog check. Handed her the paperwork and a coupon that I received last week on the mail because I live around the area. She took them and asked for my key with such an attitude and not even say please, and I saw her throwing the coupon in the trash can. I sat down in the waiting room which is in front of her. Not long an older lady walked in and needed to get a smog check as well. The young lady greeted and talked to the older lady with a good manner. There was a Beautiful Young lady sitting at the front desk with a English accent was absolutely fantastic, the most sweetest person ever she helped my elderly mum by holding the door as we came in she Gave a really nice smile and although we didnt get a smog we were going to book an appointment online to come in a few weeks. Good pricing customer service and kidness all appreciated!! i came bag to get my car smogged and was very pleased to bump into the lady she was very helpful thank you so much

I picked this place for my smog test because I had checked several websites and made several calls trying to find a competitive price. When I called them, an automated system rather than a real person answered the call. This automated system allowed me to provide my year, make, and model of my car to receive a personalized quote. The price was good, I trusted the quote, and so I made an appointment. When I showed up to the appointment and asked to confirm the price, I was re-quoted $25 higher than on the phone and was told the automated system was incorrect and the guy who had to fix it was out of town. I asked if the price I had been quoted could be honored, but the answer was no so took my business elsewhere. I can’t stand dishonest bait and switch tactics from businesses. If it was trul

normally good but I booked an appointment and showed up but their equipment was not functioning. wasted 1 hour. tried again and was able to schedule online but never able to confirm with anyone that their equipment was working after about 5 more calls--cancelled online.
