I just bought a 2024 GMC Terrain from Steele CDJR in Lockhart. This was the best car buying experience I have ever had. From the moment I walked in the door to test drive a car to the when I drove out with my new car I was treated with respect and treated like family. Service department was great to work with. They really set the standard for customer service. They were all super polite, incredibly knowledgeable, and extremely thorough. I decided to head to this shop instead of the San Marcos one based on these reviews, and it was absolutely the right call. While I hope that I don't have to see them again anytime soon, it's comforting to know that I have a competent and caring "home" shop not too terribly far away.

My daughter was in the market for a new Jeep. Did her research and found the model she wanted. I went with her and we were given the back and forth bs! I contacted Pistol Pete, a long time friend during our appointment. We drove from SA, had all the information sent in while we drove there. Pete did everything he said(integrity)! I’m in the same business. Do what you say! Shoot them straight every time. Keep shooting down those big city prices!

My vehicle was in the shop for 3 weeks. I paid $400 for a diagnosis just for “the technician” to not figure out how to fix the second issue. Usually the diagnosis fee is included as part of the price of the repair unless you decide not to have them fix the problem. The first problem was “fixed” with that cost added to the diagnostic cost. Only to have it happen again less than a week after repair. I basically paid over $1k to have 1 diagnosis with a TSB Software update, 1 diagnosis w/out a fix because they didn’t seem confident about the cause after 3 weeks. A clutch recall with parts still on order. Front & rear differential, transfer case and manual transmission service. $476 of extra money charged for my vehicle being there plus cost of repair for something that wasn’t truly repaired. A
