Sterling Auto Service, LLC

I took my 2013 Dodge Durango to Sterling Auto (it was initially at another shop that did not do this type of work and then this shop was recommended) after all of my warning lights suddenly came on while driving (ABS, check engine, battery, traction control, oil light). The vehicle shut off and had to be towed in. Sterling Auto kept my car for over TWO MONTHS trying to diagnose the issue. First, they said it was the TIPM. They replaced it, and it didn’t fix the problem. Thankfully, I was not charged for that repair when it failed. Next, they told me it was the cam shafts — a $2,800 repair. When I went to pick up my vehicle after that, I was then told it wasn’t starting and “probably” needed an ECM, which was another $1,300. At that point, I had paid around $4,900 with tax. After nearly $5,

Sterling Auto is Incredible! I had work done on my 4WD truck. He explained exactly what was wrong and what what needed to be done. He had also been highly recommended by another mechanic (they did not do the type of work that was needed, so they immediately referred me to Jeremy at Sterling Auto). They have now worked on three of my aging fleet of vehicles and done great every time.

Everybody was pleasant to talk to, the price was exactly as quoted and my car is running as it should so I can’t complain. Thanks you guys!

I’ve trusted this shop since the Lynn Auto Repair days, and nothing’s changed but the name. Jeremy took the time to ride with me, walked me through what he was checking and why, and even pointed out some known issues with this particular model. It’s rare to find that kind of attention and honesty, especially when you’re not mechanically inclined. Auto work isn’t cheap anywhere, but the pricing here is fair and the work is top-notch. Most importantly, they don’t try to upsell you or invent problems. Jeremy spent quality time with me and didn’t charge a dime for the inspection. If you want knowledgeable, trustworthy people who treat you with respect, this is the plac
