Maurice (the owner) is the most honest mechanic that I have ever come across. This is the only shop that my family and I will take our cars to for whatever needs we may have. They are able to do ALL different types of repairs and preventative maintenance, not just Transmission work!
If you have issue Mariuce will fix it right. If he notices something weak and will need attention soon he will let you know. Checks all potential issues and let's you know so YOU can decide when to fix it. He is the best.
My 2011 Lexus ES 350 had transmission issue where it would not move. We have Car Shield and they recommended Sterling Transmission to us. From the first call that Fatima picked up till I picked my vehicle back from Maurice was a breeze. Maurice made sure he called to inform us about the Status almost every day and how long it may take. He took care of everything from getting claim approved from Car Shield to Ordering the Transmission and making my car run as new. He also confirmed that the car’s transmission has 3 years/100,000 miles warranty and if we have any issues with the car we can reach out to him directly Extremely knowledgeable and professional service. Extremely knowledgeable and professional! I had gone to 2 different shops, one of them being my car dealer for diagnostics and quote. Both said I needed to replace the whole transmission and gave me a huge quote. After that, I decided to bring my car to Sterling transmission where Mauricio not only was able to pinpoint the issue to extreme precision but gave me multiple options to fixing it. I'm extremely happy with how things turned out and my wallet is grateful for coming across this shop. Highly recommend them to any transmission problems.
Very professional and efficient! They pointed out the exact Ford Focus transmission issue and the recall. Unfortunately my car was not part of the recall from the manufacturer and dealership would not deal with that. Sterling Transmission helped me fixed the issue and replaced the TCM model. They are very communicative and professional!
