Steve's Foreign Car

I have been taking my vehicles to Danny and Danny Jr. at Steve’s Foreign Car Service exclusively since I moved to Lake Hiawatha 10+ years ago. I’m wondering why it’s taken me so long to write a review and the answer is they are so good, so reliable that I have just taken their great service for granted! It has been extremely rare in my experience to find an auto repair service this good, this competent, this reliable and this honest. I could not recommend them more highly. Take your vehicles there. You will be very glad you did!

PEP Boys told me that I needed rear brake replacement immediately. I left the car at Steve’s and was told brakes were good for another 6 or 8000 miles. No charge.

Took my car there to have the clutch replaced. It failed in a few months, and when I took it back to have it repaired, they kept the car for 2 years. I'm now dealing with problem after problem that result from a car sitting for two years. I should have just paid someone else to fix the second clutch. They've cost me at least $2000.

One of my headlights burnt out so I just needed that replaced but I had no idea where to go. I found Steve’s Foreign Car on google and they took me right away and replaced my bulb in like 15 minutes. I spoke with Jr on the phone and his dad Danny in person. They’re so kind and helpful, and super reasonably priced (Firestone’s quote to replace 1 single headlight was shocking!!!) This is definitely my new go to spot for any car related matters. Definitely recommend them!

This place is the real deal! Danny and his son are honest and do great work. After taking my car in for an oil change a few weeks back, Danny pointed out a couple of repairs, both of which I already knew were an issue. I never felt pressured, and the recommendations were spot on. Good prices too.
