From the moment I walked in, they were friendly, patient, and genuinely focused on helping me — not just making money off me. I was dealing with a frustrating check engine light issue, and they didn’t just give it a quick look. They checked and re-checked my car thoroughly until they were confident about what was going on. You can really tell when a shop cares more about taking care of the customer than pushing unnecessary repairs, and that’s exactly how they treated me. While traveling Hwy 190 today, I could not dodge a piece of tire in the middle of my lane. It loosened a rubber shield under the very front of my Hyundai. We stopped in Opelousas, and I looked for an auto repair shop near me. Stewart's came up and was only .7 miles away, with every rating 5 stars! Well, I can see why! My car was examined immediately and a minor repair completed. Apparently, they see this quite often. We were in/out very quickly! Harly and the guys at Stewart's handled their business. The price was fair no trying to sell me a bunch of unnecessary work or outrageous charges. They did exactly what I brought it in for and found some stuff I missed then called and took care of it. They got my big girl back on the road driving better than ever no more shaking. It truly is like driving a big couch down the highway now.

Highly recommend Stewart's Auto Repair. I brought my Jeep there for a ticking sound in the engine that kept getting worse over time. Rocker arms and a few other things had to be changed. Travis gave us a price list and explained everything that needed to be done. Prices are reasonable and my Jeep runs like the day we bought it back in 2013. The staff is super friendly and Travis is very knowledgeable and honest. This is my new go to mechanic. You have to make an appointment which doesn't take long and everything is automated. Great place with awesome work and quality technicians.
