Stone Springs Auto Center

I’ve been looking for an auto center that is close by and also trustworthy — and I found it with Stone Springs Auto Center! I brought my mom’s car in last week for her annual VA inspection, and the inspector kindly brought me back to see the lower control arm bushing is starting to crack. It was fine enough to pass the inspection, but he said that it’s something we should consider replacing this year. I appreciated that he let me see the issue myself and didn’t pressure me to get it replaced right then because when mechanics do that, it feels like a sales tactic only. I thought — ok, I feel like I can trust this place to not try to take advantage of me, like the dealer usually does. Took my Honda accord for service here. It needed approximately 4k in repairs which I agreed to have done. I dropped off my car on Thursday and didn’t hear anything until I called on Saturday. When I asked about the “Honda” the person, who refused to give me their name seemed annoyed. I eventually came into the shop to get my car and the individual was defensive. Telling me I didn’t know anything about the car business. When I asked why no one bothered to call me to update me, he said that he thought someone else had called. Service is fine, but the individual who refused to identify himself needs a few courses on customer relations management, or maybe not answer the phone. Since the individual refused to give me his name, I can only tell you that he is the bearded guy there.

Communication is terrible. Told me my car was ready Nobody had the common decency to CALL ME and let me know my company's truck had failed the emissions test It failed because of a check engine light on my truck caused by a gas cap issue. They could have simply called me, they have my number, instead I show up and now I have to bring it back. That's a terrible way to treat customers. When I brought it there they couldn't understand what I was saying. There is no transparency in pricing. I was told to "read the wall" as an explanation to all this. I do not get a trustworthy feeling from the place. I wish I had never dropped my truck off.

Ive been taking my cars to stone springs for almost 10 yrs now. After everything I've been through with mechanics, I can boldly say they are legitimately only mechanics who never steer me wrong. Given they get a hard rap because they are a small indie shop so with this the customer must keep in mind Dolf an Lonnie are only 2 guys and yet they give respect and support to their techs for the time that is needed. They go over everything and reinspect they go above and beyond whenever you need something particular or help with something. I recommend stonesprings because your not gunna get some work done. You'll get professional service.

THE BEST! That's the best description I can give to Dolf and the entire crew at Stone Springs. Thank goodness we have them to always be honest and helpful for our aging vehicles. I won't go anywhere else to decide about repairs and fair pricing. Thank you so much, again!!!
