Straub is the only car mechanic shop that I have ever trusted and I’m 68! There’s a reason why it’s always packed with cars. People like them. The owner, Harry Straub, is super nice and takes the time to explain. Can’t recommend them enough.

I had my brakes done at Straub Auto Repair in Hastings-on-Hudson back in November, but since I didn’t drive the car much afterward, some rust developed on the rear rotors. Totally my fault — I should’ve driven it more. I brought the car back to Straub, and without hesitation, they saw exactly what had happened and replaced the rotors, even though it wasn’t their responsibility. It’s rare to find a shop that stands behind their work like this, and even rarer to find a team of people who genuinely care about their customers. Straub is honest, professional, and just overall fantastic. We’re incredibly lucky to have such an amazing mechanic and team right here in Hastings. Highly, highly recommend!

Fairly priced, super trustworthy, everything you could hope for in a mechanic shop! And they always take the time to explain what is necessary and what's not, safety-wise. Eddie and Harry and whole crew are the best.
