Pete Martin has been my guy since 2007. He is the most knowledgeable Porsche mechanic I’ve know since getting into Porsche’s back in 1992. Personable and caring about your car and more importantly, about you. He is a Porsche purist through and through. IMO, none better than Pete.

This place is really, really, really cool. You can tell Pete is legitimately passionate about what he does, the people, and the cars. I just stopped by and love to talk cars. A+ in my book.

Coming down the mountain from Lake Lure in my VW Golf GTI while heading home for Alabama my engine oil light came on and I started getting some clatter from under the hood. About eight miles later I coasted into Hendersonville thinking my engine was a write off. In a most roundabout manner, some people call it luck, I stumbled onto Stuttgart Motorwerks and Pete Martin. With his experience and functional expertise Pete zeroed in on a clogged oil pick up tube and a clogged chain tensioner screen. In the end, it was just a tear down and clean up and it cost far less than the price of a new or even rebuilt long block, which I was at that point resigned to.
