I paid them almost $4000 to fix my truck. The part they said it needed cost $2500. They replaced it, & it worked for a day. They replaced it again, still not working. They said they replaced it 4 times, still not working. They said there’s $7,000 more work that needs to be done. I said “no” to further work & asked for a refund. I’ll pay for labor & diagnostic testing, but wanted a refund on a part that didn’t work. They wouldn’t do it. I’m all about doing what’s fair & right, but that’s just not right. They’re not trustworthy. And quite frankly, they don’t care. Update: Today (02/26), they finally towed my truck back to my house (even though they originally said it would be towed on 02/24), and this was the way they left it (see photos). Stopped in to get the state required emission check, I didn’t realize a whole vehicle check was going to be performed. In past state inspections I would be in and out quickly but they would typically ASK first if I needed anything checked (oil, air pressure, filters etc), I just wasn’t prepared for the wait. Giving 4 stars anyway, your employees from front desk to shop are great. Just ask if a full inspection would be okay, that would be appreciated by others just wanting the required inspection.

I took my wife's SUV here for an inspection. I've been here several times always great. Today the young men that handle the inspections were super polite and understanding. Definitely a credit to their company. Good to see there still is a place with employees like that. Most places now you get treated like a jerk. Like you are bothering them with your business. One place just down the road, the guys were all stoned and out of it. Being treated badly led us here. Keep up the great work guys!

While I was not able to get service, mostly due to timing constraints. My side not theirs, it was a pleasant experience. I spoke with Michael who was very helpful, and I will be working with them this coming Saturday. Update: everything went well, the price was reasonable and they were timely for what had to be done. I worked with Michael, however everybody I encountered was professional and still personable. On a plus side, they do install customer parts if that interests anyone. There's just no warranty on those parts through Sun, which makes sense as they did not purchase the parts.

I just want to recognize Chris, a master tech at Sun Auto Service. This mom had a rough morning when my sweet 9-year-old accidentally locked our keys in the car at a local donut shop. Total chaos and completely stuck. 😅 Chris happened to stop by and immediately offered to help. No hesitation. No inconvenience... Just calm, capable, and kind. In a moment where I felt stressed and overwhelmed, he showed up with genuine willingness to help a mom in need. That kind of character says more than any advertisement ever could. It wasn’t about business — it was simply a good human being stepping in when someone needed help. Grateful for people like Chris who remind you that everyday kindness still exists. 💛
