I forgot to give these guys a review. A few months ago i got stranded at night with a snowstorm passing thru in the small town of Athens, OH. I had no clue to why my car wouldnt start, i had no issues with it. I was stressed because i still had 2.5 hrs to drive home and didnt know where to go or what to do. Stayed the night at a hotel, i did some research for subaru technicians in the area and luckily i found Sundown Garage. I was shocked that i would find a subi tech in a small town, but i did. Next day i called them early, told them my situation and they rapidly told me to pass by. Small business with knowledgeable techs, they had a busy day and had to turn down customers who tried to get serviced that same day. So i was thankful that they squished me into their busy day. Just had Sundown Garage replace both front axles on my 2018 Forester due to leaking boots and a ratcheting sound when turning. They finished in 3.5 hours at a very reasonable price. I was amazed at how tight the steering felt afterwards - like a brand new car. It must have been worse than I previously thought. I’m very happy with the work and the crew is very helpful and friendly. I’ve already scheduled to have spark plugs and transmission fluid replaced in 2 weeks. I can highly recommend Sundown to any Subaru owner.

I’ve had my Subaru worked on here, twice. After years of distrustful mechanics and overpriced work, I will never take my car anywhere else. I’ve had the pleasure of speaking with Will and Danny at Sundown. They are transparent when it comes to explaining exactly what the issue is, and have showed me how certain parts work, what they should look like at functional performance, and what signs to look out for when a part is needing replaced. They stay in communication with me throughout the service process. Their prices are a third of the price of other shops. Everyone here is personable, realistic, and takes delicate time and care with their customer’s valued possessions. I highly recommend this locally owned shop. I trusted them with my vehicle for about a month and could not be more please

I’ve been taking cars to Sundown for over 10 years and I appreciate being able to trust them to do an excellent job every time for the right price. They stay busy but they still have a quick turnaround time. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

They got my car in and done within 2 hours. The staff was very kind and helpful. The price was also great for the quality of work that was done. Definitely bring my car back in the future.
