Sunrise of Fairfax

This is a beautiful facility. The lack of consistent leadership in key areas has been very challenging. Staff leaves abruptly and it takes months to replace them. Despite that challenge the staff in place are lovely and helpful. It makes me wonder about the corporate/local community connection.

Ed and his team in Reminiscence were awesome and amazing. My dad thrived in their care. Ed always went above and over to ensure the best care for the residents and families. The setting is luxury at a reasonable cost. I cannot say enough for him and his team. I will miss them.

Services to my Dad have been great internally but the lack of follow up from the financial staff returning phone calls is horrible. Probably need to hire better staff. Made 4 attempts to resolve an issue over the past month. Not a single phone call back.

My father got to stay at this facility for approximately two months, and he enjoyed every moment of it. The team really tries hard to make every resident feel at home. Many different options are available depending on an individuals needs. The administration is very organized and prompt to ease the burden on the family. The facility has their own skilled nurses in house 24/7 who can handle most situations immediately, as they arise.

Absolutely wonderful Memory Care & overall staff. It took almost 4 months to get all the arrangements made to get a long time family friend moved in to Sunrise. Foster & Amanda encouraged me a lot while I went through some really stressful legal situations before my friend could actually move in. Once she moved in it took a bit of work to get her care plan done but Melissa & Lyntoya were total angels!!!!
