Sunrise of Jacksonville

WOW, not in a good way. I do NOT recommend this facility for your loved one. My father was in Memory Care and on hospice and they had no idea how to handle hospice. They kept sending my father to the hospital. They would not allow the hospice caretakers into their facility, just the hospice nurse. The peaceful end I envisioned for my father did not happen until he was moved out of the assisted living facility and placed into hospital hospice. This place does not know what they are doing.

My Mom has lived at Sunrise for 1 year and we are very thankful for the amazing staff and services provided to her. Penny has been absolutely Incredible in guiding us and making sure my Mom gets the best care. All of the staff are fabulous and friendly but Donna and Heather always go above and beyond to encourage her and help her participate in activities. Thank you Sunrise with all our hearts!

Having only toured Sunrise & spoken to staff and a couple of random residents, this seems to be the best kept secret in Jacksonville for assisted living opportunity. Will try to get Mom in ASAP!

My father, who suffers from dementia, moved into the memory care home in the fall of 2016.  The facilities are top notch and we have been very pleased with the care and attention our father has received along with the engaging daily activities provided for the residents.  I visit regularly and have found the caregivers to be thoughtful and patient when working with memory impaired residents.  The courtesies and thoughtfulness extended to me and my family by staff has exceeded my expectations.
