Sunrise of Staten Island

My Dad just celebrated his 100 Birthday at Sunrise of Staten Island. Kimberly made my dad birthday party so very special!!! Kimberly went above and beyond for the party. She is a wonderful asset to Sunrise!! My Dad has been there over 3 years and is very happy living there. I know my dad is well taken care of. Thank you Kimberly for all you do!!!!

Our family has had our mother-in-law at Sunrise of Staten Island for several years now, and I can honestly say we’ve had nothing but an outstanding experience from day one. The level of care here is truly exceptional. The clinical team knows her so well at this point, and they treat her with the same patience and warmth they’d show their own family. Anytime we’ve had a concern or a change in her needs, they’ve been right there guiding us, explaining everything, and making sure she’s comfortable and safe. The community itself is spotless every time we visit. You can tell the staff takes great pride in keeping everything clean, organized, and welcoming. I don't usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to share our family's experience: my siblings and I were scared to move our mom to assisted living, but we couldn't provide the care she needed at home. Luckily, we found Sunrise, which has been the best decision we've ever made - she's safe and cared for by an amazing team. These girls are truly amazing and deserve recognition for their hard work.

From the moment you enter the stained glass doors and see the beautiful staircase, along with our lovely smiling concierge Linda, you know you’ve found the right place to take up residence. Staff is superb, always go out of their way to be helpful and kind. Our activities director Kim plans programs and outings to please, and consults us regularly for suggestions. We have a PT Staff, Joanne and John, who work us as hard as they can to achieve improvements in carefully planned individual programs. Also the various departments have stand-out staff — Vera, Nicole, Jennifer and Jeannine, Rene, Shamel, Tiffany and young Jonathan. All in all, an assisted living facility worth checking out. The staff is welcoming, responsive, and genuinely invested in creating a warm, supportive environment. The community is clean, well run, and thoughtfully designed to help residents thrive.
