All I can say is that Mr.Jeff is the best I have ever in my life had to deal with when it came to such a Big job of getting a new engine. He is very Honest and "doesn't jump from the fence." His words!🙂 Before, he was responsible for a head and jugs job for my Vtwin Harley Davidson. 1000% great job! Then it was my 2003 Mustang. 1000% Geat job. I would not recommend no but this shop for all your automotive needs. Never treated me like a customer, more like family. If you are looking for a rush job and poor results....this isn't the shop for you. if you want excellence this is where you need to go.

Would give zero stars if possible! Where do I start with this mess? I drove to Tachyon 7 times during this process...They did nothing but butcher this head that had 38 original hours on it 1st trip --- dropping off the head/cams ,everything was in great shape just needed the valve seats recut/guides checked and had all new stainless steel valve set/matched springs/retainers to go with it,They called me the very next day after dropping it off and said it was done which I though was a bit too fast IMO.I pick the head up bring it back,Installed the head and do a leak down (I own a raceshop and I leak test every engine after head installs).Intake valves were leaking horrible.I removed head and pulled valves to see they cut the valve seats in the most horrible way and one seat wasn't cut corre

I can't recommend this shop enough, they are the most honest, timely and reasonably priced automotive place I've ever been! I took my Suburban to the dealership with AC issues. They wanted to charge me over $2-3k to repair it. I took it to Tachyon for a second opinion and it was just a bad o-ring that fixed the issue. They saved me thousands, thank you guys so much! I will definitely be back for all my service needs!

Spent lots of money here . Tried over and over again to keep using the shop but I have been treat like a no body and last in line and this last time I got my block back. Well I’ll let you decide on the cam bearings In the photos. I was told it would be no issues! I will never be back! Tired of people taking my money and this is was I received!
