Take 5 Oil Change

Tyler, the manager, found it reasonable to not give me his managers number after his team changed my oil on the previous Friday, I came Sunday to get it checked they said there was no leak, then I soaked a dog bed and cardboard that night full of oil. I came back Tuesday to get it addressed and they said it was the foam drain pan. When I asked he said whoever changed the oil should have caught the oil (his crew). He refused to change the oil and filter to fix his mistake and I told him I needed it done and to call his manager. He then pulled me back in line (after I made him call his manager) while I waited for their slow crew to finish their crazy long lines worth of work. Took my mustang in for a quick oil change, I was charged $121 for the service. Next thing I know my car is smoking out of the exhaust, I’m talking clouds and clouds of smoke. I had it towed to a dealership out of fear of driving it. My oil change, they overfilled it causing it to spill/overflow and caused my vehicle to smoke. Finally got my car out of the service department today with a proper oil change completed, full system check as well, can’t seem to get ahold of anyone for a damn refund from take5 for almost ruining my car!

The place is very well run, and the management culture is a very positive and happy one. The employees all seem to enjoy their work, which says a lot for the management. When you first pull up, somebody comes to your car and offers you a bottle of water while they ask for your needs. Everyone is super courteous. It was actually an enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this place

This was previously placed under the Jiffy Lube in Boerne,Tx. review question section in error. I am a repeat customer at Take 5, this location and others, over the years. I have never had such a negative experience as I had today. After the new oil was placed into my vehicle and a short run time, an employee, who was NOT originally working on the vehicle, asked me to turn my vehicle back off to check the oil. I watched as the tech pulled the dipstick out of my engine and brought it straight to me. He DID NOT wipe it clean and reinsert it to clear any remaining residue that could distort the reading. “Zeroing” any measuring device prior to use is wise. I’ve always done it and have always seen it done at commercial operations like this. I asked the tech if he could rotate the dipstick so

I always have a great experience at this location. They are always efficient and super friendly. I had trouble pulling up my coupon and they still honored it. The manager (I didn't get his name) greeted me as soon as I pulled up and Jude took excellent care of me while my oil was being changed. We will continue to use this service for all 3 of our vehicles.
