Take 5 Oil Change

Zero stars. Horrific service. I took my Volvo wagon in for a simple oil change. I provided the oil and filter and just needed them to perform the labor. The next day I noticed a flapping noise on the highway. Inspected the car after i got home and saw that my front skidplate was not reinstalled with the slightest care. 25% of the mounting fasteners were missing and the rest were stripped out. The front end of the skidplate had also been damaged beyond repair. My wife went back to make a claim and at least get reimbursed for the labor due to the shoddy work performed, and was told to ‘climb under the car and show the mechanic how to do it properly’. She ended up being made to feel stupid for complaining. No effort was made to correct the error. Only after I went back a second time

I would like to share my experience with shop 1030 Clemmons NC and manager Alex Ramirez. First I want to start that I and my family have gone to Take 5 oil for many years in SC and have had wonderful experiences. I moved to NC and went to the location in Clemmons and got my oil change in September 2025. I was due for my next oil change and happened to be by shop 1036 University Pkwy and worked with an amazing manager by the name of David Alderman. David told me that he could not complete the oil change as the previous technician that worked on my car had stripped the oil plug in the pan and could not even get it out(David handled this situation incredibly and respectful).I went back to the Clemmons location and worked with Alex. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, bilingual, and genuinely cordial. They make an otherwise routine oil change feel relaxed and engaging. I highly recommend them.

Another AMAZING experience with Take 5! The staff is always, ALWAYS efficient and courteous. Alex, Akeem, Khoa and Isaiah all went out of their way to provide great service. I have to drive across town to go to Take 5 and it's always well worth it.

This was my first time using this company. When I came in I had asked for an oil change with cabin filter and engine filter to be changed. The manager Alex worked through some tough issues with my vehicle because it was an Audi and a newer one. Alex really stuck it out and worked through and issues. He was pleasant and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this place. Everyone there was working very quickly and efficiently to get everyone’s cars completed. Thank you Alex.
