Taos Garage

We just arrived in Taos to ski for the week when my car’s check engine light came on and the engine started missing in my new to me 2019 Chevy Tahoe. I was given Andre’s phone number by the local NAPA auto parts store. After running a diagnostic test at the store it showed my number 2 fuel injector was misfiring. I called Andres and was able to get my car to him around 10:15 am, when he fit me into his already busy schedule. By 10:45 he had the parts he thought he would need to fix the car, at 11:15 the car was pulled into the bay for a better diagnostic test. It did not take his guys long to figure out that there was just a disconnected wire to the number two injector. I had a very good experience...and always love to give a shout out when due. Being a woman, I didn't feel like I was being taken for a "ride", if you know what I mean. Honest and got me in and taken care of pretty quickly. Thank you! :)

Highly recommend. Honest and trustworthy, Andres was very friendly and accommodating. We dropped a vehicle one evening, had a response promptly the next morning. He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, as we ended up having to haul the truck back to a Houston.

Follow-up to my two visits to Taos Garage (towed in with a disabled Subaru) visit. In Taos, New Mexico, I found auto mechanics that were highly recommended by co-workers, and like the many reviews, the guys at Taos Garage were professional, seemed knowledgeable. After the first visit, I told my supervisor where I worked (Federal), I thought Taos Garage was a great place with honest, knowledgeable, locals who knew what to do, with fair prices. Having lived many years in the same small Colorado town, they seemed like my hometown mechanic. I immediately trusted them. The Taos Garage mechanics told me the vehicle was thoroughly checked and test driven and was safe with no problems. They told me they didn’t hear squealing and the Subaru didn’t stall out on them. Only to drive away with the same
