Team Hoover Automotive

I guess I’ll start this off by saying I had previously made this review back in August of 2023 so this isn’t recent but still needs to be posted. After making my initial review Mr Hoover personally called me and wanted me to take down my honest review. Being younger and dumb I did just that. After a couple years of thinking about it, and still dealing with the issue I initially put my car in for, here it is. My first and only experience with this shop was down right horrendous. It started with me putting my 2002 v6 Pontiac firebird in their shop for an oil leak, ac issue, and belt issue. I didn’t know much back then but my belt and AC was fine so it was just the oil leak. After some time of working on it, they were getting close to finishing then ran into “another leak” that I didn’t have

I can’t say enough about how grateful I am for Team Hoover Automotive! I had been dealing with an electrical issue on my truck for a about 2 weeks and even took it to two other mechanic shops before coming here. After spending all that time and money with no resolution, Team Hoover was the one who found the problem and fixed it. Special shout out to Steve, service advisor, who kept me updated and made the whole process smooth, and to Jesus, the technician who worked on my truck and got it running again. I’m truly thankful I found this shop, and I highly recommend Team Hoover Automotive to anyone looking for a trustworthy, skilled, and reliable mechanic shop. They saved me a lot of stress and I’ll definitely be coming back for any future work!

Their pricing was competitive, and when something wasn’t handled right the first time, they owned it and made it right without any hassle. That says a lot to me. The team was easy to work with, communicative, and genuinely wanted to fix the issue correctly. Overall just a solid experience. Highly recommend them. 10/10 recommend!

I took my truck there to have the front end aligned because it was pulling hard to the right. They test drove my truck and agreed something was wrong. Within the hour they called and told me my alignment was fine but I had a separated tire belt. They suggested I get new tires even though my tires only had 16,000 miles on them. I did and that solved the problem. What I am writing my review about is the fact they did the work and inspected my truck and didn't charge me a dime to do it. I offered to pay them $50 for at least doing the inspection and they wouldn't take my money. I have used this shop when it used to be called Stowe's Auto and Randy the owner was the most honest person to deal with. The new owners are the same way. That's why I went there in the first place. I learned today that there are still SKILLED and HONEST mechanics out there! Tommy took time to properly diagnose and solve a big ol' mystery for me. He knows his stuff! Will definitely be taking our next car need to Team Hoover!
